Manchester City vs Arsenal Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Foden Sterling Manchester City 2020

The apprentice will be hoping to get one over on his former master when Arsenal visit Manchester City in Saturday’s Premier League clash.

However, having suffered a 3-0 defeat in his previous visit to this ground as Gunners boss, he is priced at a lengthy 11/2 (6.50) with bet365 to oversee a big win here.

The hosts have taken just one point from their last two league fixtures but remain 4/9 (1.44) favourites to bounce back with a victory in this one.

None of the last eight encounters between this duo have resulted in draws, but you can get odds of 4/1 (5.0) on them cancelling each other out on this occasion.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero are all ruled out, with Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne also both doubtful after sustaining injuries during the international break.

Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari, Shkrodan Mustafi, Emile Smith-Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli are all injured, while Kieran Tierney is unlikely to feature after being forced into self-isolation and Pierre-EmerickAubameyang and Reiss Nelson will both face fitness tests.

Despite splashing out on two centre backs this summer, the Citizens have still looked rather shaky in defence so far this campaign - keeping just one clean sheet in five matches and conceding five times in their last home game against Leicester.

While Arsenal will therefore back themselves to at least find the net, it is hard to see them avoiding a fifth consecutive defeat at this stadium considering their own injury problems.

All things considered, odds of 6/4 (2.50)seem generous on City coming out on top, despite failing to keep a clean sheet for their seventh match in eight.

All odds correct at time of writing. Please gamble responsibly.
